This 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. workshop is designed to teach you how to make the most of your voice. Jane will cover topics ranging from making your voice sound more powerful, how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression, breathing and posture, and how to become more confident in vocal performances. This course is a fantastic starting point for anyone wanting to make the most of their voice. Participants are encouraged to ask questions regarding their own difficulties in singing so that a variety of topics can be covered.
A one hour lunch break will be provided so that students can break and get to know each other better. Lunch is provided by volunteers at the UUSL and will include finger sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks. For those opting to bring their lunch with them, the participant fee is only $30. After lunch, all particpants will use their improved vocal skills to work on pieces conducted by Jane and accompanied by Noelle Beaudin, pianist.
At 2:30 p.m., a concert will be performed of those pieces and it will be open to the public. Registration for this class is limited to 40 participants - so please sign up early!
